In this exciting kickoff to ARK’s Armor of God series, we travel back to a Roman prison cell where the Apostle Paul watches a soldier standing guard and receives a powerful lesson from God. Piece by piece, Paul begins describing the spiritual armor every Christian needs to wear.

The Rubber Bandit learns the hard way that protection works best when you put it on before the attack starts. Ben Breezy reports from a spiritual battle zone. Some days you move forward. Other days you stop and look at how far you’ve come. Both matter.

With school almost over, Tanner, Lina, and Micah sit on the living room floor and read through the entire Star Log — five months of messages, locations, and choices. For Micah, it’s the first time he’s heard the full story from the beginning.

From “BE READY” in a printer room to “IN MY NAME” behind a bulletin board, every entry cost them something. Standing firm cost Tanner a spot on student leadership. Peace cost him his pride. Holiness cost him a grade. But they’re still here.

Then Tanner finds something tucked behind the last page of the Log — a folded note in handwriting that isn’t theirs: “You’re ready for what’s next.”

On the walk home, they pass Mr. Henry’s house. A wooden star sits openly on his porch railing — not hidden, not tucked away. Displayed. Tanner wants to go to the door. Lina holds him back one last time: “Not yet.”

But the porch light stays on a little longer than usual.

Some weeks change the calendar. Others change the person.

At school, people are noticing something different about Micah — even if they can’t name it. A girl named Ava sits down at their lunch table uninvited and asks the question that starts everything: “What happened to you?”

Micah doesn’t preach. He just tells the truth: “Something real happened and I can’t undo it. And I don’t want to.”

On the walk home, Tanner and Lina explain what the Bible says about baptism — that every time people received the Holy Ghost in the book of Acts, they were baptized in the name of Jesus. Acts 2. Acts 8. Acts 10. Acts 19. It’s the pattern.

Micah decides. Wednesday night, he is baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins.

Afterward, they find a star behind the church foyer bulletin board. The message: “IN MY NAME.” It was already there before tonight. Whoever is placing these stars was ahead of them — again.

Micah’s Star Log entry: “I was baptized in Jesus’ name tonight. It’s real. All of it.”

Some Sundays change everything. Not because you planned it — but because God did.

Micah comes to church for the first time. He’s nervous, his mom ironed his shirt twice and cried, and Tanner has been awake since 6:45 rehearsing ways to make church sound normal.

But nothing about this Sunday is normal.

During worship, something shifts in Micah. At the altar call, he stands up and walks forward. Tanner and Lina kneel beside him. No one coaches him. No one performs. The Spirit of God meets a boy who came with nothing but honesty — and it’s enough.

Micah receives the Holy Ghost.

Afterward, they find a star pressed into the wood of a church pew — smooth, worn, old. It’s been there for years. The message: “I WILL POUR OUT.”

In the parking lot, Lina reveals she saw Mr. Henry in the back pew. He stood up silently when Micah went to the altar — not coming forward, just praying from the back row. Like he knew what was about to happen.

And Micah writes in the Star Log for the first time: “I felt found.”
