This simple act during the Passover festival, set into motion a tremendous storm that lead to His death on a cross. Christ's entry into Jerusalem was the first step of the process to see the salvation of the world. So when Christ enters our lives, all things are set on a course of change.

Through the stories in Daniel we can learn several points to seeing a victorious life. We can see victory because God, in heaven, is able to save. However, victory is not a guarantee o be removed from pain; nonetheless, God has sent His son to us.

The beginning of the book of Joshua holds a story, almost tucked away, about Rehab. Her story was preserved with a simple title: a prostitute. Much like our stories, Rehab's began with her sinful nature. However, all stories contain a choice. A moment to choose to keep the old pattern or to take up a new story arc, a new plot, a new path.

Connected to the "The Bible" miniseries on the History Channel (visit BibleSeries.tv to find out more). In Genesis 22, we see Isaac at a moment when his death must have seemed imminent to him. A moment when all failed and his end was certain. And in this moment, at the last second, God brought about his salvation through a replacement sacrifice.

So, what is worship? Singing songs? The lifting up of hands? No. It is what you pursue and long for.  What is that you are longing for, chasing after? Because, you will become like what you worship.
