In our first episode,  Christopher Bohl and Jessee Koehn discuss their creation: the Arkana Engine - a tabletop role playing system with that emphasizes story and character over tedium and endless dice rolling. Chris and Jessee go over their histories with RPGs, frustrations they had with the options available and design philosophy while creating Arkana. The players give their characters names, briefly describe their personalities and outfit them for the adventures to come. Finally, Jessee - the Arbiter (Arkana's Dungeon Master) - gives us a peak at the world he's about to toss our bewildered vikings into.
