Arkansas DOT Number

Listen Later

Want to haul loads across state lines? We can take care of your paperwork! We'll apply for your Arkansas DOT number, MC Authority, and more.

If you're an Intrastate Motor Carrier operating solely within the state, an Arkansas DOT number will show your status.

If you're an Intrastate Motor Carrier getting paid to haul loads within the state, you'll need Arkansas Intrastate Authority.

As a Private Carrier or For-Hire Carrier crossing state lines with a weight over 10,000-lbs, you'll need a DOT number to indicate your status as an Interstate Carrier.

If you're a Private Carrier hauling your own loads across state lines, you don't need MC Authority. However, a DOT number is required if your weight exceeds 10,000-lbs with a single truck or truck and trailer combination.

Exempt loads like livestock, bulk grain, or logs hauled across state lines for pay won't require MC Authority, but a DOT number is still necessary for weights over 10,000-lbs. You'll also need to register for UCR and undergo a New Entrant Safety Audit.

For any non-exempt loads hauled for pay across state lines, MC Authority is mandatory. The weight threshold for a DOT number is also 10,000-lbs, along with UCR registration and a New Entrant Safety Audit.

We can handle your MC Authority registration for interstate hauling. Plus, we can assist with your 2290 Federal Highway Use Tax and setting up as an LLC or Corporation.

Need a Federal ID Number or EIN? You'll need one for your 2290 tax or if you become an LLC or Corporation with a weight of 55,000-lbs or more.

When you obtain a DOT number as an Interstate Carrier, be prepared for the state to require a New Entrant Safety Audit. We can guide you through the process.

Let us take care of your Quarterly IFTA fuel tax filings if you cross state lines.

When it comes to your annual UCR filings, we've got you covered if you operate across state lines.

We offer full trucking authority packages to make the launching of your trucking company business go more smoothly. The Department of Transportation regulates safety so doing it right in the begging is very important.
