Light and Color in Luis Barragán Architecture.
Louis Barragan (1902 - 1988) was one of the most influential architects of 20th century Mexico. In 1980 he received the Pritzker Architecture Price on the grounds that: “He has created gardens, plazas, and fountains of haunting beauty—metaphysical landscapes for meditation and companionship." His masterful use of room, light and colors influences his architecure with a unique sensual atmosphere.
