The Group of Companies Doctrine is a legal theory that is diametrically opposed to that of the accepted notion of a company as a separate legal entity. As a result, this doctrine has a very real impact on the agreements/contracts that govern the commercial world. In this episode, we build a strong understanding of the doctrine and mull over some of the landmark cases in which it was employed.
