How to reduce a statement or idea to its most simplistic form for easier sharing.
The first idea I should try this with is the title of this writing.
But the insight I just had - like how even fractions can be divided by two - if the idea involves me and someone else, (two or more people = is like even number of people) divide it by two.
It’s not a science, it’s a concept so far. Their might be a better way to represent 3 people, but for now we are going to focus on 1 person or more people than just the self as the do modes.
1 person - be as complex as you want.
Perhaps this is true; the more people involved, the more simple the idea should be for effective sharing.
So what that’s means is every time there are more people added to a group, the speaker talking to that group will serve them better if the idea they share is reduced to a more simple form. And the content they share is reduce or defined and adhered to.
When sharing with others, don’t jump tracks and connect things abstract unless it has been simplified. And even then, you run a risk of going off the path you were originally discussing.
So take a sentence, paragraph, or speech and find if there is one idea or many ideas.
Make them simple for effective sharing. Rinse and repeat. This is an empathic and effective way to be HEARD!
If I’m alone I don’t have to divide by two, but when I’m with others I do.
I can say the same things with half he words. Half the sentences.
