We're not sure if it is Eric 7 Tag or Eric 7 Hag, but what we do know is that #ManchesterUnited were absolutely embarrassed by #Liverpool at Anfield.

The red devils conceded SEVEN goals (six in the second half) but didn't even have the decency to respond with even one goal. #TenHagOut was trending on twitter yesterday by the way. 

There were other games in the Premier League over the weekend: 

Arsenal showed the Champion's credentials by coming back from two goals down to beat Bournemouth 3-2 thanks to a 97th minute winner by Reiss Nelson  

Manchester City kept the heat up by beating Newcastle 2-0 in a win that was less routine than the score line might suggest 

Chelsea finally scored and won a game of football ball

#ManchesterUnited beat Newcastle 2 - 0 in the mucg coveted Carabao Cup Final at Wembley Stadium to win their first trophy since 2016/17 and manager Eric Ten Hag's first piece of silver ware in his first season at the club

Tottenham beat #Chelsea comfortably to firm up their grip on 4th spot in the #PremierLeague and at the same time heap more misery on #GrahamPotter and his struggling blues

#Arsenal dominated Leicester without having too many clear cut chances and remain two points clear of #ManCity despite playing a game less

#Chelsea are stinking out the league.

It was cute when they were battling with Liverpool for mid-table supremacy, but now Liverpool look like they've sorted their act out and Chessy are still bleeding out. 

#Arsenal meanwhile, look to have overcome their storm in a teacup and are back on top of the league thanks to a 4-2 win away at Villa and also thanks to #ManCity dropping two points away at Forest. 

Manchester United under the stewardship of Eric Ten Hag and the goal scoring of Marcus Rashford look like they really really mean business.
