In this episode, Brooks Berg, Doug Norlander, Mark Wiens, Sean Bearth, and Steve Daubenspeck discuss the ongoing invasion of Ukraine by Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation. Together, we examine the history and geography of the region, the economic forces at play, the social and political implications of the invasion, and finally, the initial military operations of the conflict. Our goal is to go above the headlines and educate our listeners on the situation from multiple different angles. Through discussion and contemplation, we attempt to unearth the deeper forces at play, and explore potential outcomes including Putin's endgame.

In this episode, we attempt to dissect many aspects of the 2020 Presidential election.  We start by assessing the strengths and weaknesses of Trump and Biden, and what each will need to do in order to win.  We then discuss the current state of the Democratic and Republican parties, and how this election is shaping each of their futures.  We end our conversation by talking about education and trade policy, two important issues that have been largely absent from the election conversation.
