Welcome back to another episode of the Armchair Imagineer podcast. This week we take a look at Dapper Day! If you've been to Disneyland in the last 10 years, I am sure you have heard or even seen someone talk about or participate in Dapper Day, I do my best to let you know all I can. I know this week is sort of short but sometimes the information is a little scarce and this is a subject that I adore and didn't want to miss out on. If you have something you want to me cover you cans send me an email at [email protected]
We are back finally, again! After a move that was way too time consuming and entirely too stressful, we are set up and ready to keep churning out a weekly episode for your listening pleasure. Thank you so much for being patient and understanding of the situation. As I state in the intro, I am very saddened to have missed out on the entire month of October as I had several episodes planned for the anniversary of Disney World, Muppets Haunted Mansion and other Halloween hijinks. That's all stuff to worry about later, for now let's enjoy this week and the little victories!
This week I take a look at an often glanced over Disney property, how Disney acquired it and finally a run through of the attraction.
This week we take a look at two abandoned Disney properties and the spark of hope of a new hotel. It isn't a long one, but it covers roughly 40 years of history regarding these defuncted properties.
This weeks episode is a comber one, the rise and retirement of the Disney Store. It's a short one as well, there is really not a lot of information regarding Disney and its retail outings outside of the parks, so this is what I was able to cobble together. Enjoy and see you next week!
Hello and welcome!
This is the first new episode after a year hiatus that I did not mean to take. This week we talk about why I took a break, plans for the future as well as kicking off season 2 of the Armchair Imagineer podcast and we are starting with a Rediscovering the Rides episode. If you want me to cover your favorite ride or attraction please send me an email at [email protected] and I will do my best to research and record a podcast for you. Thank you so much for joining me once again as we talk about Disney and its history. I'm glad to be back and making content again, I really missed it, I missed all of you. So thank you for sticking around, it means more than you know.
