The April 16th edition of Around the Diamond featured many great guests! Starting off the hour, Mike Nellis went on the 7 DL as Cory was called up to take his place and co-host the show with a great first segment about the biggest MLB stories. In our second segment Champs SP Andrew Cooper joined us to talk about playing baseball in a Canadian city being from Canada. Following that Champions manager Hal Lanier came on to talk about his recent moves and then the man of the hour Trevor Gretzky joined us to talk baseball and more!

The April second edition features a a new guest as Ottawa Champions broadcaster Cory Mess joins Mike and I in studio to talk about the champions as well as some good input during our interviews. In our second segment Champs new catcher Danny Grauer joins us from Virginia to talk about joining the team and how hes going to handle the pitching staff. Following Grauer, Ottawa manager Hal Lanier then comes on to talk about the most recent transactions this off season. After Hal, our biggest guest joins us in the 4th segment as Ben Nicholson-Smith joins comes on from sportsnet.ca to talk about the Blue Jays recent moves for the 2016 season. In our final seg Mike Glustien comes on to give you a fantasy baseball preview.

Jeff from the House of Barons is a hard worker and expresses his pure love for barbering at the House of Barons barber shop. This is where a few weeks ago Jeff mentioned that they had started a new trend and created a hybrid of men's grooming in Ottawa. Basically changing the face of men's grooming in the nations capital. That statement that Jeff made gave me the idea to do a story about the shop and how it changed the face of barber shops in Ottawa!
