It's episode 46 and its a very special one. The NBA started 74 years ago in 1946 (and Eric IS 46! Whoa..) It was of course the BAA until 1949, when it changed its name to the NBA. It's Episode 45 and the boys might be betting on a playoff game, with the winnings going to the Red Cross... The Conference Finals are nearly here!! It's episode 44 and the playoffs are getting intense. The 1st round ended with two very close game sevens. It was nearly broomsticks for Milwaukee. Boston thought they had Toronto's number. Toronto got a new phone line. The Lakers and Rockets are battling it out. The Clippers and Nuggets are getting a feel for one another. Have no fear episode 42 is here. Wait, what NBA teams are boycotting games? The playoffs might be over? Listen Is as Chris and Eric discuss the boycotting of games today, including the Lakers-Blazers game and the Bucks-Orlando game after the shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin. They talk about what this means, if only some teams will opt out (the Lakers and Clippers were the only two teams to vote to leave) or if the whole bubble is popped. The importance of lives over basketball is after all a powerful message for the NBA players to send.
