Around The Reel

On today's show the three of us discuss the importance of embracing "Who You Are!" It's important to recognize that all of us have garbage. Stuff in our lives we aren't proud of and that we hope stay under the rocks we buried them under. However, today we reveal some of our trash! In this industry and especially this culture, baggage can catch up with you so why not pull a B-Rabbit and beat them at their own game! We also discuss our early films, things we've learned over the years, our podcast success and most importantly... Will Chuck be willing to save Aaron if the "It Follows" monster was after him. If you seen the movie you know what we mean! Sit back, grab a drink and enjoy our conversation on Around The Reel!

On today's episode we welcome back Actor Carl Covington for an emotionally charged discussion that dives into race, culture, our compassion as people and how we all can work together collectively to make the right changes today! We need to have new dialogues and not the same "cookie cutter" conversations that have been had for years and years that don't move the needle in a new direction. Carl is definitely the type of guy to initiate those types of discussions! The race divide is something important for all of us and it's been going on for too long; it is time for those with voices like Carl to speak out and not be canceled, not be silenced and not be blocked. In this episode he has that opportunity. Welcome our friend Carl Covington to Around The Reel.

Today's BONUS EPISODE is a touchy one. Our local film community is one of the most talented and fun groups around! However, like anything else,  it has its issues. Recently we've seen division in our local community and we don't like it. So, as Around The Reel, we feel obligated to address the issue at hand and offer our advice, help and opinions on the matter. There's no reason for us to actually take sides in this industry unless the threat is real! Conversation, communication, education and experience go a long way!  Join us on this controversial topic and think about what we can all do to make things better! Filmmaking ain't easy... let's not make it harder than it already is.
