Waking up to a spring storm. The trees and other living things appear to be prepared to receive. They act like they're listening. Their roots require a good down pour. My thoughts wander. What about our roots? We're constantly running! What if these trees could openly move like the snakes and deer below?
We're changing daily. Growing with it comes with too many judgements and opinions. Let us belong in a way that accepts everybody...
When news and or journalism is based on fact. I spent some time with NewsNation host Chris Stirewalt, he seemed unafraid to talk about any subject. I brought up how the media has often been accused of bring forward propaganda. He agreed while explaining how many journalists gravitated toward the internet to get their information. Based on fact. As a host on terrestrial radio I did it as well. We'd leap onto the stories people were talking about so that listeners would become engaged and stay longer. Things are different today. We want more facts than stories based on facts. A true connection has to include trust in the listener and viewer relationship.
I spent some time with Brigadier General Anthony Tata. We spoke about his new book and lifetime passion of writing. Before wrapping this up he shared a heartfelt message that has the strength to change lives, "We have to stop judging each other for our shortfalls and celebrate the victories. But we don't. We continue to pick away at things that didn't go right."
