The potential of there being a possibility. That's how I felt when Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs had only a few seconds on the overtime clock to either tie the score or win the game with a touchdown. The team driven decision to go for six points was a possibility. They went for it. It looked unbelievably flawless. What Swifty fans and armchair quarterbacks didn't see were the number of times they practiced the potential of there being a possibility. To stare into the face of hope, faith, truth, doubt and fan shaming. Turn the lens around on you. How many times have you known of a possibility but chose to walk away without giving it a run?

From this place we stand the witnesses see violence and or experience it on their own soil. The war in Ukraine to Israel attacked by 2,200 missiles from Gaza early this morning. What about our own country the U.S. ? Businesses brutalized by theft. It's ripping down the foundation of growth. They kept saying that once the pandemic was part of our past it would be the roaring 20's. Oh it is! The roaring out of control 20's. Accountability has no backbone. People are challenging themselves to be bad because they know they'll get away with it. Being bad is the new good.
We walk into each new day assuming we are properly prepared, then from out of nowhere there's a switch in the story. The walls are taller and the valley floor deeper.

Her family bond is deep and their connection is filled with love. She wonders about her birth mom and comes to appreciate both her birth culture and her adopted family's culture, for even though they may seem very different, they are both a part of her, and that is what makes her beautiful. She learns to appreciate the differences in her family and celebrate them.
The most difficult part about daily writing is the effort to keep what's being written focused on not time stamping a moment. Will anyone in the future really care about the 49er's and Chiefs in Super Bowl 58? I say that and yet some of my most in depth daily writing was during the day and months after September 11, 2001. I hope my family locates that experience so they're able to understand our walk and way. The same is true about the Covid lock down. As much as time stamping goes against my beliefs as a daily writer, it remains the best thing to do for future readers.
