My father was a cold man.  I have moments where I should've been cold.  Breaking free of the spirit of always being up beat allows the awareness meters to clear up the debris.  Our cold in America isn't the same cold in Ukraine.  We've got roofs over our head.  They have giant holes in their walls.  Learning from your personal journey with snow and cold can serve as an amazing tool for anyone cold around the world.

I always put my energy into the value of words.  So many people recklessly throw their words onto social media.  A lot of prayer requests, victory shouts and how much they hate their job.  But what about your _______ blanks?  Those things you don't want to put out there.  Or you post it at 5pm and take it down by 5:01pm. Because people react to my adventures of working at a grocery store, I keep it fresh and up to date.  But what about the mindsets and mood swings before I arrive at the store?  That's my ______ blank!  I don't want to be the weight on someone's plate.  I stopped talking about my podcast conversations with the stars because a former coworker accused me of talking too much on social media.  So now I envision people rolling their eyes.  His judgment created my ______ blank.  What's on your cutting room floor?  

Parijita is the first in her family born in the United States. When the political unrest began in Nepal, Parijita's dad decided to move the family for safety. Parijita's dad came first, but when bringing the rest of the family over, immigration made it impossible for their older daughter Priyankana to join them. The only way Parijita could communicate with her sister was to write letters. It was Priyankana who introduced Parijita to soul and R&B music. Parijita went on to perform at school in the musicals and choir and eventually in a blues band. For the past five years, Parijita has been gigging at restaurants and bars and recently performed at the International Blues Festival in Memphis.

If more people put themselves ahead of why they do what they do, there’d be more unique things available to us. The average creative person isn’t given the proper support to build their platform. They’re told, “Do this. Don’t ask why. Just do it.” Elon Musk became because he set out to achieve. Yet he’s proving to the world at Twitter that nobody but him matters. He is… therefore all who work for him must also see his is… or pay the price. Pull the lens back. Look at how many company’s after Elon’s Twitter layoffs are doing it as well. Meta and now Amazon has announced their largest termination ever. Elon Musk became because he set out to achieve. The rest of the world will follow.

Multi-platinum selling country star Josh Turner is coming to UPtv with his King Size Manger Christmas special, premiering on Friday, November 18 at 7/6c. The special is part of the network's Most Uplifting Christmas Ever.<> Turner will be performing his unique interpretation of iconic holiday classics and originals from his first-ever Christmas album, King Size Manger, on a night promised to be festive and full of songs and celebration. He'll discuss special holiday traditions with hosts Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase. And he'll be joined by special guests Pat McLaughlin, Rhonda Vincent, and the Turner family.

And "special" is the way that Turner describes King Size Manger, especially given the roles his family plays in it and had on his tour. "I'm really excited to have the King Size Manger Christmas special debut on UPtv. It was important that the special feel like an extension of our Christmas tour from last year," he said.

"My wife and four boys were on the road with me, and were a big part of The King Size Manger Tour," he continued. "Jennifer played keys, my eldest son Hampton played most of the show and Hawke, Marion and Colby were all featured on several songs. Our family loves Christmas and is honored to be a part of UPtv's uplifting season this year."
