Arroe Collins Music's Lost History

Written to create a movement in music only to learn the artist who made it famous actually regretted it.

The band's new album wasn't performing the way record company decision makers needed it to.  It meant going back into the studio to pick out a tune about another musicians butt.  What?  Preserving a music legends dance moves made this one song a legacy all its own.

His goal has always been to fuse music.  It had to be about his musical influences which included his violin playing father.  The shocker?  He was invited to play at the original Woodstock without an album to back him up?

It doesn't represent one person but rather multiple generations.  The resilence that follows after being knocked down but not knocked out.

He spent years writing songs.  Some were picked up but were never heard on American radio airwaves. Not until he teamed up with Bob Dylan's manager.

A Beatle-esque moment in the way of YouTube now becoming part of a songs total success.  Unveiling the winning formula while keeping all eyes on first love experiences.

Two Kevin's on guitar.  Punk Rock gets a fiddle and denim overalls.  But it was never enough to keep them together.  The song that finally stuck was credited to the wrong Kevin.

The songwriter was doing all he could to save his relationship with not only one of the most brilliant folk rock artists at the time but her eyes... there was something about those eyes that ended up on a 7 plus minute breakup song.

The only reason why this Ed guy stepped into the studio was to increase his chances of success as a songwriter. He wasn't interested in a band until a college radio station turned everything around.

They were from the 1980's but do not call them a Hair Band. They do get credit for giving us a reason to turn down the volume and take in some great Rock listening.  Does that mean they get credit for inspiring MTV's Unplugged series?
