One thing you'll hear me say that most political opportunists dare not utter is that liberals and conservatives have absolutely no way of reaching any middle ground on the various issues they disagree on. This has become an unpopular things to say because we live in a false "peace" oriented society that would rather smile in the face of death than prevent it. The idiotic philosophies of dishonest, though perhaps, at times, well meaning (most are meant to be disruptive), political players have seeped into the minds of the American people. These philosophies promote unity with white supremacists, compromise with corrupt police officers, and peace within a society that is at war with itself. I find it ironic that the promoters of this peace threw together a crappy version of the song "Imagine" by John Lennon to make the world a more peaceful place. Perhaps they have forgotten that John Lennon was shot to death for attempting to do just that. Sometimes people don't want your version of peace. Sometimes people want to live their lives in their own unique way. When you try to fit people into boxes and categories, you quickly run into problems. Yet this is how politics are conducted today. The very same people who finger wag at the thought of public shaming, are nothing more than an arrogant bunch of immature spiritualists who are responsible for massive job loss, and the end of disposable income. Why should anyone listen to Bill Gates? Why was he chosen to spread health awareness? He is not an authority figure on health. He owns a company, and has a bunch of money. Shouldn't it have been doctors like Dr. Fauci who spread the message about vaccine awareness? I often wonder what our leaders were smoking when they gave one of the richest people in the world, who has also been responsible for massive job loss, especially during the tech bust in 2000, the green light to help the very people who distrust such major corporations. It's almost too stupid to actually be real. But it is. Wealthy people have been chosen to help the same poor people that they constantly say are a plague to society. Wealthy people spend most of their time talking about how poor people are the problem. This is political arrogance, and it has real repercussions, one being that people are now distrusting the system that raised complete morons like Kayne West, Elon Musk, and Donald Trump to prominence, while leaving the rest of us the crumbs. The oligarchs of this country are so far removed from any semblance of the constant struggle that is normal American life that they have absolutely no business instructing others on how to carry it out. How can a man with super powered monorail system in his basement know what is like to lose a coal mining job in the deep south? How can some douche bag sitting in a hot tub working on his next subpar rap song advise women on whether or not they should get abortions? How can a dimwit who almost left California for Texas right before the Texas grid failed be tasked with something as difficult as converting Americans to electric cars? These are questions that people scoff at, but will never provide any real answers to because we live in a world of dreamers. Everything is progressive these days as long as billionaire says it is. But there is a non arrogant world in America, and it sees this supposedly philanthropic movement for the cold, dark, hollow, empty lie that it is. Billionaires are not interested in helping anyone but themselves, and the fact that these people have been allowed to treat the world like their personal playground has had very real, very traumatic consequences for our system of government. We have destroyed the link of trust between leadership and the common person by elevating those driven by greed, and tearing down those driven by good will, all because we wanted our worldviews to be chosen, whether or not they do any good.
