First, Alex gives her insight on the signing of Laia Codina from Barcelona before Tim and Alex segue into talking about the Women's World Cup, Alex's experiences of covering the tournament from Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, how the 'mid-tier' nations are closing the gap to the elite in international football and how Spain won the tournament in spite of their coach and the RFEF. Tim and Alex finish by talking about the ongoing situation with RFEF President Luis Rubiales and his refusal to go quietly.
