Glen is a collage artist and professional creative director. He is from Louisiana, but has called Texas his home for many years now. On this episode, we get to hear about the space where Glenn works in Dallas and how important it has been for him as a creative.

With a background in design, cutting paper and arranging visuals comes naturally to Glen. He is inspired by themes of time travel and nostalgia, using elements of his childhood to create scenes and juxtaposition.

Being introverted by nature, Glen tells us about the challenges of sharing his artwork with others. As he actively practices telling people about his work, he believes he has grown as an artist and come to understand his own practice on a deeper level.

Katie King is a speech therapist and wheel throwing instructor in Durham, North Carolina. Bree Smith is a Dallas based multidisciplinary artist who explores painting, mixed media and mural work. Her practice combines her love of bright colors and science fiction to produce images of Sci-Fi Pop Surrealism. She did not always know this is what she wanted to make and she shares her journey to this niche with us during the episode.

Bree reflects on one of the first explorations that lead her to her work today during her artist residency at the Village Church.
