Art Block: Season 1; Episode 2 features Mexico City-born artist, Luis Blackaller (@Cartoon_Distortion) in conversation with our co-hosts, Luis and Abraham.

Luis Blackaller, a.k.a. Cartoon Distortion, is an artist, filmmaker, and small press independent publisher from Mexico City with an interest in comics, the conservation of ephemeral printed media, public space, issues of representation and diversity in popular culture, the life cycles of narrative colonialism, and good old fashioned cinema. During his formative years in Mexico City, he worked as a designer, art director, and storyboard artist in films like "Amores Perros", "21 Grams" and "Babel", and he holds a Master's Degree from the MIT Media Lab.
