This week I have chosen to expose the amazing work of a local charity- Motiv8
Motiv8 provide safe spaces with trusted adults, to help & encourage young people and families to develop skills, tools and the resilience to overcome life's challenges.
Each young persons situation is unique and may require a different type or length of support. Motiv8's approach provides flexibility, and allows young people and their families the opportunity to remain engaged, access ongoing support and sharpen their skills as required; recognising that there may be further setbacks on their life journey.
Supporting young people in our community requires time, dedication and money.
For every young person or family referred to Motiv8 by the local council or school services,Β only 60% of the cost of that support is covered.
In order for Motiv8 to maintain the standard of service they offer, they need continued funding through donations, corporate sponsorship and fund raisingβ¦. πππ πππ ππππ?
