On this week's episode of Art on the Air we broadcast an edited version of the first of the three of the recent Public Art Lecture Series organized by Kristopher Monroe! The roundtable took place on October 10th at the Savannah Cultural Arts Center.
Monroe was joined by panelists Clinton Edminster, owner of Starlandia Supply and the organizer of the Starland Mural Project, artist and author José Ray, and Ryan Jarles, Cultural Resource Planner at the Metropolitan Planning Commission, for an in-depth discussion about local public art projects and their process!
PLUS, we grabbed a Field Note with artist Alexis Javier of Sulfur Studios about Jubilee Freedom DAY' 2019 and it's accompanying art exhibition at the Cultural Arts Center Gallery.
