In this study, we unpack Article 1 of the aforementioned document. Prosperity theology claims that genuine faith will mean material prosperity, good health, and generally lead to all our worldly desires being fulfilled. It also teaches that the mark of being a true child of God is most reflected by a person's material prosperity. Do these ideas agree with scripture? Why or why not?
