The podcast is back to share some highlights from the Holy Week services at Bethany Lutheran in Alexandria, Virginia. In this first episode, let me first apologize because there was a slight issue in the recording of the opening and closing segment. It sounds a bit funny, but the words still get across. If not, at least those segments are short and we get right to the music and one of the Gospel readings shared on Maundy Thursday night.

The last part of our Podcast reboot comes with a reading of 2 Timothy, chapter 4. Uh... hello? It has been quite a while since the last podcast. We left off half way through "The Story" and will have to go back and pick it up at some point. In the meantime, life at Bethany Lutheran Church has gone on. In July, I did two sermons that were based on the Gospel of Luke, chapter 10. The first was presented on July 3. That Sunday, we also had a little fun with America's birthday thanks to the musical talents of Linda and Lindsay Hemphill.
