Kent Johnson got things going with getting new contracts. After that, Marchenko got his deal. Laine is out of the NHL Assistance Program, other teams can now talk to him which means a trade could happen soon. The Jackets finally found a new coach, they hired former Minnesota Wild head coach, Dean Evason. The Jackets still need to re-sign a few players, one of those is Marchenko - will a deal get done and what is the term? Also, KJ and Silly need deals, what do these deals look like? Will Laine be a Jacket next season? We discussed the options. 

Another week has come and gone and the Blue Jackets have yet to name a new head coach - their top candidate may have hit a dead end. Nationwide Arena needs renovations, including a new jumbotron. Christiansen signed a new deal, only two more players in arbitration that need signed -- Greaves and Marchenko.
