Today, we welcome back Wednesday host Ali Muldrow (and her adorable new co-pilot, Frida Hallelujah) for a conversation about the importance of the arts with UW’s new arts director, Chris Walker.

They talk about “arts for everyone everywhere,” Chris’s vision for the arts on campus and in the community, and why access to the arts and creative play is necessary.

Chris Walker is a contemporary dance and performance artist and a professor in the Department of Dance at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is the founding artistic director of OMAI/First Wave and was recently appointed the director of UW’s Division of the Arts.
