KENDRICK LAMAR!!!! Not only has he been breaking records. He has broken the ultimate record by becoming the first rapper to surpass 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Only nine artists have achieved this in history. Only 2 of them are black men. We need to celebrate this as a culture, am I right? What's a better way to do this than to celebrate during festival season? The Roots PicNic? Wireless Fest? Anyone? Just me? Ok cool. Maybe I'll just go to Renaissance pt.2... I mean the Shakira concert. Nevermind, Kendrick has been celebrated enough. Just make sure when this is all said and done, we just sing about him.
