  • An upbeat modern country track about the kind of love that makes you whole

Jock Barnes is part of a Country duo, Route 33 with Trent McArdle. They are back with a brand-new pop country single for summer, “Best of Me”. marks Route 33’s first new single since their ARIA #1 Australian Country Album in late 2024 and their fan-favourite Live from Tamworth EP released mid-2025. In true Route 33 style, the song delivers big harmonies, driving guitars, and heartfelt storytelling — an upbeat modern country track about the kind of love that makes you whole. Built around the idea that one half isn’t complete without the other, the verses reflect life moments that fall short when shared alone, while the chorus bursts with energy — dancing in the rain, driving fast, and living life wide open.
