Sandie Vara, The Spice Guy, talks about his emotional journey, sitting on a beach one day and deciding to change his life by heading back into the hospitality industry as a chef.
The Spice Guy was born 🌶
Sandie’s love of food came from his early childhood - Hear how his early experiences shaped his life and career with food today🙌🏽
Through his South Asian heritage and culture, Sandie grew up revolving his life around food and thinking of lunch whilst eating breakfast, most meal times! As most ethnic families love!
In lockdown, Sandie was stuck not knowing what to do with his business and took to cooking live on Facebook. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, every single day, 7 days a week, all throughout lockdown. He wanted to do something whilst at home and the momentum took over. So much so that even Sylvester Stallone got in touch! 🤩
Sandie is very open about his health and how he prevented diabetes, all by changing his diet. Sharing his experience round diet and how he lost a lot of weight embracing his new life style over lockdown 🔸
Having cooked for the likes of Eamon & Ruth Holmes and Anthea Turner, Sandie is still a private chef and ready to cook for you in your home for intimate dinner parties 🌱
Plus, we talk about what’s next for The Spice Guy 🙌🏽 including recipes, health and a new book!
