Arye Lynet is Trying His Best

Hi hi! This week I'll be Trying My Best to talk about my complex feelings on the small beauty community on YouTube, and why I just don't love it anymore. I've been scripting a conversation about this topic for far too long and I felt like now was the right time to talk about why the small beauty community hasn't been working for me as of recently. Expect an autopsy of the anti-haul, a tirade against conflating hate comments with constructive criticism, and more!

What the frick is up, ghoulfriends - this week I'll be Trying My Best to talk about my time in the Monster High fandom. I'll be getting into how I first discovered Monster High, my special appreciation for a certain zombie genius, and my presence within the fandom. In fact, you can expect a big twist in this episode that reveals a whole other side of my internet presence; one that I've never publicly talked about before. Yes, this episode has a twist, and it's almost a decade in the making.

Time for a super-sized episode!

This week I'll be Trying My Best to not get cancelled while talking about Animal Crossing villagers - but I won't be doing it alone! I have my sister Shannon on today to share her thoughts on a select number of villagers. We set some categories, picked some villagers and now we're gonna either compliment them tons or absolutely roast them. Enjoy the resulting mess!

You can follow Shannon at her makeup account on Instagram - www.instagram.com/shanvictoriaa/

Greetings! For this week's episode I'll be Trying My Best to talk about the relationships between pop musicians and the loyal fans who fight hard for them. I'll be taking a deep dive into two specific case studies and taking a leaf from my personal experiences. Expect a smorgasbord of topics including remix albums, meet and greet etiquette and undying loyalty to pop up throughout this episode!

Well hello! For this week's episode I'll be Trying My Best to talk about my nostalgia for the TV advertisements that I fondly remember today. If you like listening to someone rambling about a niche subject, this episode is for you! Expect an in-depth discussion about the banality of car commercials, the relevance of Phil Collins, and my camaraderie with a CGI panda that might have been in the mafia.

If you want to keep up with the ads I talk about in this episode, you can watch them using these links! I highly recommend doing so if you've never seen these ads before.

Hey! Did you know that I design eyeshadow palettes? I mean, most of them aren't real... but they count, right?  For this week’s episode I’ll be Trying My Best to talk about my palette designs, and it's a full-scale evaluation - I go into the origin story of how I started my designs, then talk about the not-so-mysterious process of making them. And finally, if you had any questions on your mind, you just might be in luck! I answer questions submitted by my lovely Instagram friends about the thought process, lost concepts and brands I'll never design for.

Welcome to the first ever episode of my podcast! Today I'll be Trying My Best to talk about the most gloriously horrifying movie of 2019 - CATS. Enjoy listening to my rambling about the complex problem of visual effects, Jellicle cults, and the mice children that continue to haunt my nightmares.

Time to start something new and exciting.

This is the introduction to the podcast, so essentially Episode 0! If you like exposition, saddle up for a full five minutes of me explaining why I'm making this podcast in the first place. And I hope that whatever I create, you'll enjoy listening to it.
