Gratitude for today...
I am grateful for the power of being obedient...turns out that that little voice you sometimes hear is your heart, and what is your heart; love and Love is God. You just have to learn to listen closely and I guarantee instantaneous BLESSINGS will occur.
When managing anxiety remember it is a process and it is okay if you are not completely okay tomorrow, remember you can do it!
Steps to remember...
1. Be aware - notice your negative actions and thoughts
2. Challenge & Change - stop self-defeating thoughts and actions
3. Develop Positive Habits - build habits that improve your mood

1. What will your life look like without anxiety?
2. What new things will you get to do when you feel better?
3. How will you think, feel and act in your work when you feel better? IN your relationships with others? In your relationship with YOURSELF?

October 25, 2019 The Truth Behind Prison Injustices with Terrance Stanton
Terrance Stanton is currently serving time in a federal prison for a non-violent drug offense, but wait the plot thickens!! Almost 5 years ago Mr. Stanton's trail attorney wrote a sworn affidavit saying " if not for my incorrect advice, Terrance Stanton would've pled guilty. Only because of my incorrect advice did he stand trail. Terrance Stanton rejected the plea believing he would be a career offender had he pled guilty."
Now some facts...
In order to triumph on a unproductive assistance of counsel claim during a plea negotiation stage, a defendant must show that the counsels error defaced the defendant and that if not for the mistake, the outcome of the plea process would've been different. Without the incorrect enhancement Terrance would have been home already!! Receiving 5 to 10 years. Even with the counsels sworn affidavit the courts felt that Terrance would have still rejected the plea, which is far from being JUST!!!

As we go into part 2 of We The People with Jonathan Lockhart; a very high profile case involving a police shooting ending in death of an unarmed black male in his apartment was just closed with the sentence of 10 years and forgiveness from the victims brother. I am troubled by this; not because of the forgiveness, no because right there was not of this world, that was a message being relayed through that young man. I a little baffled about the 10 years when families are being torn apart for life for nonviolent crimes...but hey lets see what's next. Part 2 everyone
