Queer fashion history, an iconic lesbian author, the future of soul music and a landmark move to protect women from harassment – there is a lot going on this week on Little Pod of JOY!

Lana spoke to Shaun Cole who is a fashion historian, curator and writer based at the London College of Fashion about why queer communities have had such close ties with fashion, how gender and sexuality has been inspiring and informing fashion, how androgyny is perceived and represented within the fashion world, and more!

Welsh author Sarah Waters was in town for the Melbourne Writer’s Festival, and took some time to chat with the team about lesbian protagonists, queer literary history, and her latest novel. Sarah has received international acclaim for her novels that include Tipping the Velvet, Fingersmith, and her most recent, The Paying Guests.

Stephanie chats with Ms Murphy on the Tuesday Afternoon Show about how her life has changed since appearing on The Voice in 2013, what she has learnt about the music industry, and her new album Dirty Soul including the recording process and her upcoming live shows.
