We only get so many days to live. In Psalm 90 we read that we should, “Number our days.” What does that even mean? How do we live each day like it’s our last? How do we avoid waiting on “One day when?” Let’s talk about it!

4 common traps of spiritual procrastination that we might encounter at different stages of life:
1. The "When I Get My Life Together" Trap (Ages 15-30):
In our youth and early adulthood, we often think we have all the time in the world. We say we'll get serious about our faith once we've figured everything else out. But wisdom tells us that we don't get our lives together so we can follow Jesus - we follow Jesus to get our lives together.
2. The Busy Season Trap (Ages 30-50):
In the midst of careers and raising families, we can easily become too busy to prioritize our spiritual growth. We tell ourselves that God will understand our busyness. However, these busiest seasons are precisely when we need God the most.
3. The "I'll Retire Into Spirituality" Trap (Ages 50-70):
As we approach retirement, we might think we'll finally have time for spiritual pursuits. But we can't retire into a relationship with God that we never built. The time to start is always now.
4. The "Too Late for Real Change" Trap (70+):
In our later years, we might feel it's too late to make meaningful changes. But the Bible is full of examples of people who were used by God in significant ways in their advanced years. It's never too late to deepen our faith and make an impact.
