It is good to be thankful to God because everything good that we have comes from heaven. But have you ever thought about what Jesus was thankful for? What is recorded in the scriptures for us? There are five times that we see specifically what Jesus thanked the Father for: He thanked Him three times for bread; He thanked Him for whom He chooses to reveal His Son and His kingdom; and He thanked the Father for always hearing His prayers. As Jesus is, so are we!
