if texas was looking for a 0 percent population of people from mexico since the beginning, i dont think i would be startled by what is happening right now. obviously, they were not looking for 0 percent presence.  

i never really wanted to describe this  but in the u.s. there are even cities that are predominantly one culture or another.  for instance, in some states there is a much higher proportion of one population over the other. that happens in the u.s. and i recently moved to a place where there arent that many people like me here. i am not offended by it.  its just how it is.  but i think it would be a problem if there was the expectation that not one person like myself is ever in the area.      i kind of get this feeling that some people are looking for 0 percent presence of folks.   in my perception of canada, there is a 1 percent presence of people from the u.s.  but that may not be the case.  i get the feeling people are looking for a 0 percent presence of some folks.  that would mean something no one would want to admit. maybe for instance, if texas was looking for a 0 percent presence of people from mexico.   that kind of thing.  this would be a thing that no one would want to admit.

there are millions and millions of people in central and south america. you arent going to displace them all.

i have traveled a little bit and usually when you get to border areas there are overlaps in culture and people. it just seems to be that way the places i have gone 

i am from texas, a state that borders mexico. i guess i could describe my opinion on how it is troubling to me that some people would find it unusual that i would be from texas

ive never been to canada but the story i always get about canada is that most people cant get in.  but recently i seemed to discover that a lot of foreigners did get in and took over the jobs and left none for the canadians.   it doesnt sound like it was central and south american foreigners that took over canada.

the difference between france and the u.s. is that france is not bordering central and south america
