the soviet union dissolved in 1991. russia started the war in 2014 and invaded ukraine in 2022.  i hear trump told putin invading ukraine was a genius move.  so there is a tendency to find out things get escalated by one person and then get solved by the same person. but the problem wouldnt have been there in the first place without the person that started the problem.  its kind of like setting a house of fire and no one knows   then  when people are standing around you walk up and put the fire out like the hero who saved the house.
