Tim and I catch up over the fourth of July weekend

This is a dual episode.  I also co-host a podcast called TreeActions with Dwayne Nuestader.   Dwayne has been a guest co-host on this episode.  I thought it would be fun to interview Tim on TreeActions and then use the recording here as well.

In this episode, Tim and I catch up.  Due to schedules, we have not had a chance to record a podcast for a few weeks.  We discuss, momentum, physical training and what every else crosses our minds.

In this episode, we discuss Tia's recent traumatic brain injury.  She tells us how it happened, how she has dealt with recovery, and her hopes for the future.  We have no intention of giving medical advice, we do see value in sharing Tia's stories as a means of closure, hope, and possible insight for others who may be in a similar circumstance.

In this conversation with Amanda Carpenter Tim starts us off by asking Amanda what her calling in life currently is.  We then go on to discuss "white lies", the concept of the circles of relationships, social pleasantries and obligations, introverts compared to extroverts, and the power of asking yourself "what do you want?"  We learn the exercise of vomit journaling, the value of listening to yourself on an audio and/or video recording, and finally the power and value of meaningful conversation?".

Bob Sonntag is a retired businessman who ran a successful prairie farm implement manufacturing business to finish off his career.

 Bob also has experience as a bank manager and in commercial fruit juice sales, and manufacturing. 

 Bob loves old cars, trucks, and long-running series like Star Trek, The Jetsons, and The Simpsons, to name but a few. 

 Bob has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and values independence and freedom. He has twice built and still maintains a state-of-the-art off-grid fully functioning residence with all of the attributes one would expect...and some you might not. 

 Bob loves to hike, hunt, and help others. He and his lovely wife Shari live in Kansas City with their beloved hounds who they spoil immensely. Bob and Shari love to attend live concerts favoring the oldies like the Eagles.
