Discussion Question: How important is it for people close to you to feel encouraged by the things you do and say? Bible story: 1 Thessalonians 5:11-18. This week in Highschool we conclude our discussion on Generosity. This week we want to encourage students to be generous by encouraging others.

Discussion Questions: How many times did Naaman dip in the water? Our bottom line this month is God knows what's best for me. Our bible story this week comes from the book of 2 Kings and is about a man named Naaman. Memory Verse: 1 John 3:20- God Knows Everything.

Discussion Question: What if our purpose isn't found in what we do but who we are? What are some lies that you have sometimes listened to and believed? How can we confront those lies with truth? Bible Story: Psalm 139:13-14. Main Idea: Our identity is found in Christ, and Our value is found in Jesus.

This week in Getwell Kids we continue our discussion on friendship and we discuss how God forgave us so we can forgive others. An opportunity for discussion: "BEDTIME"- At bedtime take some time to pray for each other, an example is, "God give us the wisdom to choose friends carefully and the courage to walk away from friendships that are harmful, Amen".

This week in Getwell Kids we continue our discussion on friendship and why friendship is important by looking at the story of Saul and Barnabas. An opportunity for discussion: "DRIVE TIME"- while on the go ask your kid: Tell me about someone who is your friend. What do you like most about them?

Welcome to the As You Are Going Podcast! This is a podcast of Getwell Church in Mississippi. The purpose of this podcast is to inspire conversations between parents and their kids. Each week we will have separate episodes for Nursery, Kids, and Students (Middle school and High school). Each episode will discuss the teachings of the previous week to foster continued discussion about what kids are learning and growing in.
