During Holy Week we celebrate together the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior - Jesus Christ. But have you ever wondered when God first told us about a Savior to come? Dive deeply with me into Genesis 15 to look at the covenant God made that guaranteed the Messiah, who came at the right time in history. 

Sunday was Palm Sunday and our Scripture was John 18:28-40. Katie Miller and I spend time diving deeper into what Jesus says in versus 36-37 and what that means for the life of the believer. 

Here we look at Matthew 6 as we continue diving into the Sermon on the Mount. We look at how Jesus teaches us to live and order our lives because of the New Covenant He brought us.  

Daniel preached on John 11, the story of Lazarus on Sunday. Here Shelby Hood and I discuss various aspects of the story and dive deeply into the ministry of tears and the ministry of truth. We look at when to use each and the overarching purpose of both. 

Jesus had a lot to teach about the New Covenant that He ushered in for us, which He first began to explain in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7). Here we dive deep into Matthew 5 and Jesus's teachings to be encouraged by His words and to begin learning His New Covenant. 

Sunday's text was Luke 19:1-10, the story of Zacchaeus. In this podcast, Jesse Johnston and I talk about the difference between being rich and having abundance and what that means for the believer's life and the Church. 

Here I take time to dive deeper into the Wesleyan Quadrilateral along with Kim Renkema! We talk about where it came from, definitions, and why it is an important tool for believers.

Tom talked on Sunday from John 4 – the woman at the well. Here we dive into God's character and remember that because God is who He is, we are who we are. From important pillars of God’s character, we live our lives and have a mission in this world.

Sunday's text was Mark 10:35-45 and here I get to dive in with Sarah Johnson who preached at the 8 am service. We dive deep into the balance and difference of self care and being a servant.

Tom discussed Jesus turning the tables and assertiveness. Here Mason Miles and I dig deeper into the Scripture to look at the significance of Jesus turning the tables, how Jesus cares about how we treat others, God's wrath, and what assertiveness looks like.
