No one really anticipated the full impact of the resurrection. Jesus' mother, the disciples, the soldiers,  and the others who all saw Jesus die didn't expect it. Through Jesus' death and resurrection, He offers us new life. And the new life of Jesus brings forgiveness, cleansing, a second chance, and a fresh start. The new life of Jesus brings hope, peace, and incredible joy and excitement. This is the Divine Suprise of Easter!
