Waiting for rain! Frustrated as it goes to the north or south of us. Waiting for a package delivery, wondering if the seller can deliver. Waiting for an answer to a prayer or a request or a proposal. King David once wrote, “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” (Psalm 5:3)

E-k-e comes from an old English verb meaning to add, to supplement, or to grow. So, to eke-out a living means one needs to supplement or add to their income somehow, someway, just to survive.

I’m not a plane crash expert, but I suspect if the plane goes down, the giant playground staple won’t be that helpful. Maybe, but I’m not that hopeful.
