The Women's Euros have officially kicked off, more of the asexual spectrum enter our asexual villa and we chat about GCSE's at some point too.

This week there's 3 of us! Ellie joins our conversation to tell us all about her new book; That's What She Said, which is based around a Demi sexual character. We talk about her writing journey for this story and how important it is to have this kind of representation out there. It was really interesting to talk to Ellie about her realisation story too and how she didn't feel the need to 'come out' to her family... until the book happened.
Ellie's book, That's What She Said, is available to purchase all around the world.. which is handy for us because we're World Wide BABY! You can also find Ellie on instagram- @eleanorpilcherauthor & TikTok- @eleanorpilcher

In this weeks episode we talk to Maya and discuss her asesxual identity. Maya is from the US and discovered she was asexual after being married and in a relationship for 7 years. She didn't know asexuality was a real thing until her, at the time, partner spoke to her about it. She never really experienced any real interest in sex or felt any sexual attraction. Whenever she engaged in sexual behaviour she explains it as just an act and she thought that must be how everyone felt. She is still wanting to stay anonymous but it is something she wants to work on- letting people know the real Maya. This was a gorgeous conversation and we really appreciate Maya's generosity and taking the time to talk on the pod.

In this weeks episode we chat about the first episode of a new UK Series, Virgin Island. We discuss how we, if at all, related to the islanders, and how it was a bit of an uncomfortable watch.. but also why? Why is something the world is obsessed with (sex), such a taboo subject to talk about?
