While a Child is innocent allow them to be creative, allow them explore, allow them to be who they are. It’s ok to set boundaries but don’t set limits. When we’re older color seems to be taken as a search for a man, or a somethings wrong with them, or an outcast look. When a kid is young it’s usually “their favorite color” allow them to have that piece of personality. As a hairstylist mom, I always allowed my son to express himself with his hair.
