Ash Wednesday and Maternal Healthcare

Today we talk a bit about Ash Wednesday, Repentance and a couple things that stood out to me about the State of the Union from President Biden.

“Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:19‬

This is not a popular message. 

In fact this is the opposite message of the culture. 
You are told you are good enough. 
You are perfect just the way you are.

The good news of the gospel of Jesus is not that you are perfect but that you are not. 

That’s why you NEED Jesus. 

If you feel worn out and broken and tired, choose Jesus. 
Repent means literally to turn around and go the other way. 

Stop running from God and run toward him today. 
And Jesus WILL forgive your sins. 
God will embrace you as a son or daughter and welcome you to the family where HE will be enough, because HE is Good.
