Hey everyone. This is Ashanti, and I would like to welcome you to episode number one of Marketing Growth Hacks. This podcast. I've definitely been putting it off for about since April of 2019. We're currently now in December of 2019 and the whole year I put it off. It's just nerves, definitely nerves. Getting the best of me and not being able to ... I don't wouldn't say I don't know how to express myself its just getting the courage to move forward with it. I'm definitely an introvert. I don't like to speak publicly unless necessary. And I would definitely say is necessary to speak publicly now. But before, I wouldn't say I would. I was someone to speak publicly. I'm definitely a private person. I stick to the people I like to talk to. I rarely venture. I won't say I don't venture out talking to people that I definitely like to talk, but it's just that comfortability of not doing It was much more at the time, preferred then now. I'm definitely learning how to get out of my comfort zone and, you know, being able to express myself authentically. And that's something that, for personal growth and also business growth. This is something that anybody and everybody should learn how to do. And I hope you guys don't hear that in my background. I live in New York City, so you might hear the street sweepers, So I apologize. But if you don't hear it, just ignore what I just said for the last, like, 10 seconds. But I do live in New York City, born and raised, I work in the mental health field and currently I work in during the graveyard shift job of shift, which is the night shift is the late night shift from 12am to 8am is definitely it's been a adventure. Working that shift for one I don't know how to explain how it feels. I always felt like it wasn't a real job, but it is. But it isn't. I don't know how to take it. I've been doing it for about five years. I work in the mental health field, so but I work in a residence. So it's a 24 hour residents where we buzz the door. It's very mind numbing into the point where is very predictable. In at this point, I want to grow. I want to grow in all aspects of my life. I want to grow my relationships with my family. My friends. I definitely want to grow. And I can honestly say just like with any job, it has its limits, and I'm beyond my limits at this point. So you know it's time to venture out. It's time to move forward with life and grow. And if you're not growing, you're not moving You're not moving. You're not living. So I want to live. So that's definitely the direction that I definitely want to go in terms off, moving forward and growth. I definitely love the idea of learning something new and knowing how to do something different from what I've already learned, and if anything, stacking on top of this stuff already know why not? You know it doesn't hurt, but enough of that. Ah, so I've been working there for about five years. And you know, I can say that it has definitely been .... Now that I think back it's been a wild ride. Because when I started that job I started as a student. So basically I was in college when I started working there, but before I started working there, I was a full time student. But you know, if you have gone to college or if you know anybody that goes to college, you definitely need some type of money coming in something because tuition, schoolbooks, supplies and then let me not even get into school. If you don't have some type of like financial aid to help you or some type of aid helping you with traveling all the books and stuff, you have to pay that out of pocket. And if you don't have a family or rich family that has money for you, that's definitely something you have to do for yourself. And I learned within my first semester after my first semester that I needed some type of money coming in to help with the extra Expenses School definitely, requires you to have. I will tell you another time about my college experience...
