This week's service  is led by Rev Wendy Tucker and includes 'Because of you… An Act of Remembrance which was created by performing Arts Mission Enabler, Anne Middleton. The video features Anne’s poem, ‘Because of you…’, written for the Royal British Legion’s 2018 ‘Thank You’ theme, with her husband, Rev. Darren Middleton, singing ‘You raise me up’ (to a newly created backing track by Paul Field). The poem and song are set as part of an ‘Act of Remembrance,’ which includes bugles sounding The Last Post and Reveille.  

This project is supported by the Royal British Legion Dartmoor Branch and the Devonshire and Dorset Regiment and is available as a free resource thanks to the Plymouth and Devonport Methodist Circuit. 

We are very grateful for the permission to include this in our streamed remembrance service.
