Good morning, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist coming to you with a chilly update from Asheville, North Carolina.

Hold onto your hot cocoa, folks, because we've got a Winter Weather Advisory in effect! Today's looking partly sunny with temperatures climbing to a crisp 49 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a gentle north wind blowing 3 to 7 miles per hour.

Tonight, get ready for increasing clouds and temperatures dropping down to a frosty 29 degrees Fahrenheit. That north wind will be keeping things cool at 3 to 6 miles per hour.

Wednesday is going to be a bit of a wild ride weather-wise. We're looking at a 50 percent chance of snow before 1 pm, potentially transitioning to rain between 1 and 2 pm, and then back to snow after 2 pm. Temperatures will hover around a chilly 37 degrees Fahrenheit. We might see a light dusting of less than half an inch of snow.

The cold continues Wednesday night with a 20 percent chance of snow and temperatures plummeting to 18 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect some gusty northwest winds up to 23 miles per hour.

Thursday brings partly sunny skies but brrr... it's going to be blustery! Highs will only reach 26 degrees Fahrenheit with northwest winds between 17 to 20 miles per hour and gusts up to 34 miles per hour.

The weekend looks a bit more promising with mostly sunny skies and temperatures gradually warming up. By Sunday, we're looking at a high near 51 degrees Fahrenheit.
