A champion of compassionate self-awareness, Ashley possesses a keen ability to infuse contemplative practice into daily life, work and relationships. She brings a presence of calm thoughtfulness and humor as she blends the teachings of wisdom traditions with modern culture. Ashley began her own contemplative journey as a child when she discovered how the natural world gifted her with greater understanding and a deeper sense of belonging, and as a young adult also began practicing in the vipassana (insight) tradition. She went on to become an accredited mindfulness meditation teacher and completed a year-long nature meditation apprenticeship with dharma teacher Mark Coleman. In addition to teaching meditation and Yoga Nidra (somatic relaxation) Ashley provides contemplative-based coaching for individuals and small businesses.
