I also asked Ashley how it felt losing members James Joseph (bass) and Feisal El-Khazragi (guitar) after deciding to part ways the band during difficult times. We also talked about how the band won a Cardff Music Award for 'Best Breakthrough Band' and how the members of Holding Absence really do have a special connection with their fans. Ashley and I also discussed how we both love large drums, what it's like to be a Zildjian artist and why Ashley likes kicking hi hi hat cymbals!
